Andy and Patty Pierce
Executive Director
Andy and Patty Pierce spent 25 years running a plumbing contracting business before a moment in Haiti in 2010 changed the course of their lives forever. After witnessing children without access to clean water in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake, they knew they had to do something. What followed was the development of the SafeTap Water Filtration System, a solution designed specifically for families living in crisis. In 2014, Andy and Patty founded Project41, rooted in the belief that safe water is the foundation of health and dignity.
In 2024, they established a manufacturing center in Kenya, ensuring the work is locally operated and built for long-term impact. Today, Project41 works alongside local partners across Kenya's hardest-to-reach communities, reaching thousands of children and families every year with life-saving water.
